Crafted from sandblasted acrylic, this piece exudes an ethereal, opaque quality, reminiscent of the mystical aura surrounding the Egyptian goddess Bastet. The sculpture stands elegantly at 44 × 34 cm when framed, capturing the poised grace of a feline figure. Hiscocks’ meticulous sandblasting technique adds a unique texture, enhancing the visual depth and tactile allure of the piece. A subtle earring adorns the cat, adding a touch of modernity and whimsy. Its translucent form allows light to play across its surface, creating a dynamic display that changes with the environment. Perfect for those who appreciate the fusion of history and innovation, this piece will undoubtedly become a conversation starter in any home or gallery.
